Central Coast Water Restrictions

Restrictions Level

The Central Coast is currently not in water restrictions, we will go into restrictions when Mangrove Creek Dam reaches 50%. View the Central Coast’s current dam storage levels.

As our dam storage levels fall during drought, water restrictions will apply to help us make sure there’s enough water for everyone.  The restrictions apply to outdoor use of town water and include rainwater tanks that are topped-up with town water.   The use of standalone rainwater/bore water and/or recycled water is not restricted but must be identified by signage at the location of water use.  In the event of - or where there is risk of - an accident, fire, hazard to health, safety or environment, water restrictions do not apply.  See each level here. For even more detail of how all the restrictions affect everyone, including residents, schools and businesses, see the full table of water restrictions.
