Flow Forward - High School Water Education Incursion

Are you looking for a high school incursion tailored to syllabus outcomes that highlights the importance of water conservation and sustainable practises to create a better future on the Central Coast?

The Flow Forward Program is delivered by Council staff in collaboration with Environmental Educators from Rumbalara. The incursion consists of multiple school visits over a term allowing students to:

  • Identify and rectify water inefficiencies through student-led school water audits.
  • Develop and implement Water Savings Action Plans (WSAPs) to create long-term, sustainable water-saving initiatives and actions for each school.
  • Increase water literacy through hands-on activities, experiments, water escape room challenges, video creation and dam tours.
  • Cultivate leadership and innovation through civic engagement by empowering students to lead educational campaigns and infrastructure improvements in their schools.
